What is work for you is a learning experience for students.  If you give them some guidance and enough time, they can do the job and lighten your load!  In ignoring this potential, you make more work for yourself and fail to see the learning potential for your students.  Let them take responsibility for:

• paperwork
• phone calls
• checking details with administrators or staff
• errands within the school and within the neighborhood
• organising materials
• fundraising
• research about the issue.
