Look out for any “unexpected teaching opportunities” that occur. Very often, you will be able to achieve more curriculum outcomes than you had anticipated through the program. Also be mindful of “unintended consequences” that might emerge during evaluation processes. Sometimes, significant impacts of a service-learning program may not have even been planned or expected. |
